What's in Your Kit

Your kit includes layered wooden pieces labeled 1–8 to help you build your shelf in the correct order.

Simply paint and glue each numbered layer one at a time. Once the main shelf is assembled, add your finishing touches - including the cozy cat, leafy plant, and tiny drawer pulls. These bonus pieces aren't numbered, but you'll know exactly where they go after checking out the finished project photos below!

What You’ll Need

• Acrylic or craft paint (paint markers work great too!)
• Craft glue (we recommend Aleene’s Tacky Glue or any clear-drying glue)
• A small paint brush or sponge brush

Tips for Assembly

• Paint each piece before assembling for the cleanest look.
• Apply a thin layer of glue and let it sit for a few seconds before pressing pieces together.
• Avoid over-gluing edges - a little goes a long way!
• If needed, use clips (like clothespins or chip clips) to hold pieces in place while drying.
• Make sure the legs are aligned and even before the glue fully sets - this keeps your shelf standing straight!
