Custom Laser Cutting and Engraving Pricing Guide
Custom laser-cut and engraved items are perfect for:
- small business promo (small signage, keychains, badges, employee gifts, etc.)
- special events (weddings, baby showers, birthdays, customized gifts)
- personalized memorial items
- I cannot cut metal (though there are many acrylics that have a metal look to them)
- I cannot engrave tumblers at this time (I may add this feature in the future)
- I cannot cut or engrave fiberglass, foam, Styrofoam, carbon fiber, PVC, or epoxy (these items are hazardous when lasered)
PRICING
DEPOSIT
20% or $10, whichever is greater
I require a 20% or $10 deposit (whichever is greater) for all custom projects. You will receive an invoice that needs to be paid before I start the design process. The remaining amount for your project will need to be paid upon completion.
DESIGN FEE
$5 - $75+
SIMPLE CUSTOMIZATIONS: Basic text and basic icons or monograms, $5 - $20
MODERATE COMPLEXITY: Your business logo or other vectorized graphics, $20 - $35
HIGHLY DETAILED/INTRICATE: Hand-drawn elements, multi-layered art, $35 - $75+
HOURLY RATE FOR COMPLEX PROJECTS: $75 / hour
EXTRAS
$15 - $45
REVISIONS: You may have one free revision to your project, after which you will be invoiced for $15 per each revision.
PAINT FILL FOR ENGRAVING: $10 - $30 (varies by size of piece)
CUSTOM CUT SHAPES: $10 - $50 (varies by the size and complexity of the shapes)
EXCLUSIVE/COMMERCIAL USE DESIGNS: If I design a logo or any other elements for you, you will have the option to purchase those design files to use in other projects (business cards, websites, etc.) for $45. This will give you full rights to the design.
RUSH ORDERS: $25 for expedited design work - subject to availability
BULK AND REPEAT ORDERS: Bulk pricing and other discounts may be available, message me if you are ordering 10 or more of the same design.

PRICING INSIGHTS
- Small custom items cost more per inch because setup time and detail work remain the same regardless of size. However, if you order in bulk (10+ items of a smaller item, then you may qualify for an order discount.)
- Acrylic costs about 10-20% more than wood due to material costs and engraving depth.
- Final pricing will include a design fee, a size fee, and shipping cost. Additional costs may be incurred on top of that with extra revisions, paint filling, custom shapes, rush orders, or purchase of a custom logo.
